Frequently Asked Questions about Store Planning

1: How much will it cost?
It varies depending upon the type of store you want, but a ballpark rule of thumb
-550 sq. ft. to 1,000 sq. ft. - $25.00 to $75.00 per sq. ft.
1,200 sq. ft. to 4,500 sq. ft. - $15.00 to $30.00 per sq. ft.
15,000 sq. ft.+ - $10.00 per sq.ft.

These costs include delivery & installation. Costs are determined by the size of the Rx lab. Large complete labs-upper end, smaller labs-lower end.

2: How long will it take from the time I give the go ahead to delivery?
Sometimes we can do better, but generally allow 4 to 6 weeks.

3: How long will the installation take?
Depends on the size and whether it’s a remodel or new installation. New installations go quick, generally less than three days. A remodel can take longer because of its nature. The secret to a remodel is the proper cooperation and coordination. We provide a remodeling schedule of events prior to the modernization. We’ll tell you what you need to prepare for and the different stages of progression. We will work with and coordinate with your staff, wholesaler, computer & phone, & contractor.

4: When will I start seeing results after the modernization?
Immediately! Sometimes it will take a couple of weeks for the staff and customers to feel comfortable and “get used to it”.

5: Should I put a compounding area in place?
Generally we think it’s a good idea. Ask someone who does it or has done it.
We can provide names.

6: Should I have a private consultation room.
Another good idea. This can double as a screening room.
